Azad Madni, executive director of USC Viterbi’s System Architecting and Engineering Program, received the 2022 Industrial Innovation Award. The award, presented by IEEE Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society, is awarded to honor technical contributions resulting in significant advance in integrated electronic systems and large-scale integrated interoperable systems. Madni received this award in recognition of “pioneering innovations in simulation-based training, intelligent decision-aiding and intelligent-process management.”
